Podcasts:

[Comic Book Page Podcast –  WonderCon 2011] – Bob Bretall is joined by guest Sean Neprud (of the “Only the Valiant” podcast) to reminisce about the 2011 WonderCon. Find out why we think it’s one of the best Cons in the West.

[Everything Comes Back to 2000AD – Megacast Ep 5] – Its another interview podcast and this time the Megacast girls are joined by Dredd artist Colin MacNeil to discuss his work and answer questions posed by users of the 2000AD forums and readers of the ECBT2000AD website. One point of note : At the time of recording Colin was down to attend the Bristol Comic con which is unfortunately no longer the case (which the girls are particularly gutted about).

[NPR: Live Concerts from All Songs Considered Podcast – Steve Earle: Tiny Desk Concert] – Music from Steve Earle’s Tiny Desk Concert. Earle has lived through the sort of horrors that have launched a million country songs: addiction, affliction, heartbreak, even prison. He wears them in his voice, but what’s most appealing about him is the wide-eyed, unmistakable fearlessness with which he goes about his life these days. The singer, author, actor and activist showcases many of his talents at the NPR Music offices. You can download the video by subscribing to the All Songs Considered Tiny Desk Concert Podcast at npr.org/tinydeskconcerts.  A very ropy performance by Steve Earle.

[KEXP Live Performances Podcast – Destroyer] – Daniel Bejar’s ironically titled theatrical post-disco revival ensemble Destroyer perform live on KEXP’s Audioasis. Recorded on 3/18/2011 – 4 songs: Downtown, Certain Things You Ought To Know, Song For America, Painter In Your Pocket.  A very deep and complex layered soundscape that I really enjoyed.
